Tanuki Finance collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Nothing is transmitted anywhere, so there is nothing for us to see, store, sell, or lose.
Nothing. The app has no backend and makes no network requests of its own. Your transactions, accounts, budgets, categories and household details are written to a database file inside the app's private storage on your device.
No one. There are no third-party SDKs in the app — no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no trackers of any kind.
This version of the app does not connect to any bank. You add transactions manually or import a statement file you already have.
If you attach a receipt photo, text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. The image is never uploaded.
Household members and shared accounts exist inside your own device's database. Because there is no sync service in this version, nothing is transmitted between devices.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version adds sync, bank connections, or analytics, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the App Store privacy labels will change with it.
